Monte Toro Young

Type of grape: Tinta de Toro 100%.

Harvest period : Early-october.

Production: The grapes are carefully stored whole in vast at 25º until fermentation is complete.

Alcoholic content: 13.5%

Wine-tasting: A superb, intense india ink colour with wild crimson tones giving glimpses of purplish hues. Bouquet typical of a young, terse wine prevailing over the magical spell of carbonic gas. The fruity aromas of this grape variety suggest primary pefumes, cranberries or cherry mixxing with fresh, earthy airs, strawberry and raspberry....... .A fresh, nervy taste in the mouth, with a meaty feel.

Serve at a temperature of 15 - 18ºC.


 

Monte Toro Crianza

Tape of grape:100% Tinta de Toro from vineards over 40 years in age.

Harvest period: Early-October.

Production: Light pressing and fermentation at 28ºC. Long maceration.Physical stabilisation in vast for four months followed by 15 months in American oak barrels, after which it is rounded off in the bottle until it reaches its point of optimum maturity.

Alcoholic content: 13.5% Vol.

Wine-tasting:Cherry with blue touches. Bouquet features hints minerals, slate,graphite and mature fruit blending with the wood, toasted with a slightly bitter, extraordinarily pleasant finale.

Gastronomy: Perfect for red meat and game.

Serve at a temperature of 15 a 18º C.


 

Monte Toro Reserva

Type of grape: 100% Tinta de Toro from the oldest vineyards.

Harvest period: Early-Octuber.

Production: Traditional, with long maceration to give it a strong personal touch.

Alcoholic content: 13.5% Vol.

Wine-tasting: A powerful colour, yet full of light. Fresh, fleeting bouquet of tertiary origin in which the American oak predominates more then the Limousine in which it is ages. Joyous reminiscences of vanilla, roasting and liquorice and we may even be able to identify ripe cherry jam, the mark of the Tinta de Toro grape variety, in a meaty structure which slows down its pass through the mouth, bringing out all its taste, reinforced by sweet tannins.Spicy after-bouquet.

Serve at a temperature of 15 a 18º C.
